Feelin’ so fly like a G… 25X
I’m fairly lucky in that I’m privy to some rather exclusive cars every once in awhile. From driving super cars in Hawaii (which I promise I’ll post about soon, oh faithful reader) to getting the Montreal first-drive of the BMW ActiveHybrid 7, I’m not afraid to say: “Wow, I’m lucky!” And it’s not always about the super-fancy, incredibly fast cars. Sometimes, it’s just the fact that it’s a first time for Canada or North America in general that makes it so special.
These past few weeks I’ve been inundated with Gs. Last week I spent my time behind the wheel of the brand new Infiniti G25X. This little number is Infiniti’s latest model and their “entry-level” model in the lineup.
For entry-level, this Infiniti has all the fixin’, just in a much smaller package which automatically makes me like it more.
I’m not gonna lie, I love smaller vehicles. I’ve come to realize that the more compact the car, the more likely I am to enjoy driving it. And while the Infiniti G25X isn’t as small as the Ford Fiesta or MINI Cooper, I really did enjoy driving it, despite the lower power.
With only a little over 200 horses, the G25X isn’t the fastest horse out of the stable, but that’s OK because it more than makes up for it in other areas, like interior design and amenities. It’s basically a shrunken G37, and that’s just fine with me.
So, while I was filming my review of the G25X (which I’ll be sure to post on here, oh faithful reader), I decided to snap a few shots of the event and the car so you can all see what I do with my Sunday mornings in late fall.
Sorry this post wasn’t highly exciting, oh faithful reader. Really, I think I just wanted to show off a bit of my limited photography skills.
Drive on,
– M.
