Four doors with some serious style
Alright, so I’ll admit, I wasn’t sold on the Porsche Panamera when I first saw pictures of it. I wrinkled up my nose, shook my head a bit and maybe even made a little gagging noise to myself (yes, I know, harsh). It looked bulbous, ungainly and just a bit too “big” to have the Porsche crest on its hood.
But, now that I’ve had a few months to look at it, and am now driving the Porsche Panamera 4S for the week, my opinion has changed just a bit.
Yes, I still think it’s big, but I now realize that the Porsche crest definitely deserves to be branded on the hood. This is a Porsche through and through — but with functional back seats!! Having sat in the back seat of the 911 Turbo, I can tell you that the Panamera’s seats are infinitely better and roomier. Your children/dogs/friends/groceries will thank you.
I won’t go into too much detail here as I’m filming the Panamera 4S review for WatchMojo.com tomorrow, but so far I’m really impressed with everything the Panamera has to offer both from a driving point of view and from a practical point of view.
Porsche really have managed to engineer and design a sedan that’s as performance-driven as a Porsche should be (by law) which is just fantastic in my opinion.
Drive on,
– M.
